Started a little later than usual on my meditation. But it is good…the point is to ‘start’. ๐
The word ‘challenge’ has been on my mind. I have decided to not use this word…for me. Challenge has meant (to me) a ‘contest’ of which there are ‘winners’ and ‘losers’. Once, I define ‘winner’ ‘loser’ then I am dualistic.
If I place myself in one of those groups….then another person will be in the other group. Thus, I have separated myself from reality. There are no ‘winner’ or ‘loser’ groups.
We all suffer. That is reality.
From my meditation today…I allowed the word ‘challenge’ to fade away….gently and with kindness.
May all sentient beings be released from suffering. Whatever that suffering may be.
Wonderful point, Debra.
Instead of challenging ourselves to become more than we are . . . we can commit to sit and see ourselves as we are.
Seeing ourselves as we are. Indeed. Seeing the reality.
